The organizing committee cordially invites you to participate to the conference “Turkish - German Conference on Energy Technologies” that will be held at METU, Ankara from the 13th to 15th of October 2014.
In the last decades, the direction of the energy technologies has evolved drastically. The goal is to increase the proportion of renewable and green energies for the future energy demands. Thus, environmentally friendly and sustainable energy production will be the main focus. Having this motivation in mind, scientists from wide range of interdisciplinary areas are searching and developing various approaches to achieve this goal. This conference will bring experts in the field of recent energy technologies covering fundamental research and applications from semiconducting solar cells to biotechnologically relevant enzymes, from biomimetic inorganic catalysts to nano materials. It is especially aimed to bring scientists from Germany and Turkey together, and thereby increase the possibility of initiating collaborative work between both countries.
